i have long thick curly hair, and i use dove volumizing gel. the bad thing about it is: it doesnt hold as good as normal gel, but yu can always mix it with got2b extreme hold. And yu can get everything from any drug store at a good price!!! Yu can always put yur wet hair up with a gina clip, after combin it and styling it, so yu make ur hair dry up while in the desired shape. I usually sleep with a gina clip so in the morning i have good volume. Bad thing about it: if yu do not place the gina clip properly , yu'll have either a really puffy side, or yur hair is not styled properly. It takes some practice!
