heres the best shrimp i ever tasted: in a saucepan on very low heat combine butter, onion powder, garlic powder (dont use onion salt or garlic salt, it'll dry out the shrimp) fresh or dried dill, fresh squeezed lemon juice, stir it well to blend then add shrimp and marinate for about half hour--keep the heat very low, just warm enough to keep the butter liquidy. stir only lightly as heavy or hard stirring will break up the shrimp. place the shrimp on skewers and grill. then for a real sensation wrap each shrimp in a half strip of pre-cooked bacon (the stuff you buy pre-cooked in boxes works best) then put a toothpick thru each one and grill for just a minute more. mmmmmmmmmm...............

If you're going store bought look for something with citrus and pepper. At home I like to use lime juice, chilies, garlic, pepper and salt to marinade my shrimp.

Lime juice, crushed garlic and a splash of tequila. Grill with red and green peppers with the marinade also, toss it with some dirty rice (Zatarans brand) and serve.

In a bowl melt some butter and add worstershire sauce. Brush generously over the whole mess, sprinkle with pepper and grill hot.

I usually just like lemon over the shrimp with a little curry powder. Or I'll rub them with garlic and parmesean.
