Back in the day I was a Sheriff Dept. volunteer and used to see this happen to people we arrested for drug possession but I can't remember which drug does this.
I'm asking because I saw a recent episode of House and that fat character's eyes were doing it the entire time and it totally pissed me off. Anyway thanks.

D.I.P.s cause Nystagmus. Depressants, Inhalants, and PCP. Alcohol would be number #1 is the catagory of depressants. Some people are born with natural Nystagmus but in my years of law enforcement I have only seen one natural. ALL the rest were alcohol related.

I've never taken an illegal drug, nor am I an expert.
But, I do believe Meth, and some forms of crack will do this to a person. Very sad people get addicted to that garbage.

Are you talking about nystagmus?
Alcohol, marijuana, dilantin, phenobarbital, and some meds for seizures will cause nystagmus. It can also be a naturally occurring medical condition.

alcohol will do it. The guy may have a medical condition or was drunk during filming.
