I have been asked to pet sit for 2 shihitzu dogs for 5 days, my duties would include feeding, walking them and checking on them at least 2 times a day and staying overnight at the house from 8pm til morning... how much should I charge? Any ideas??

I would really do some looking into this, because basically, it sounds like you are a pets sitter AND house sitter. This is taking up your nights too. $70/night??

Prices can vary depending on your area but a professional pet sitter often charges by the visit. Usaully $12.00 per visit sometimes more if multiple pets. If you are staying overnight then you may need to rethink that. It sounds like you will be house sitting as well as pet sitting. You also need to understand that you are liable for damages that may occur while you are sitting. Most professionals are bonded and insured.
