It is dangerous for you to be drinking so early. Your body is still changing and growing, let it finish before you put any unhealthy toxins in it. Don't let it poison your chances of graduating high school, it can cloud your brain and lead to brain damage, amongst other serious problems. Please stop drinking and try to talk through your love/heartbreak/depression thing with a close friend, relative, or professional. It's much healthier for you physically and mentally.

I'm a girl and my first drink was when I was 14-vodka with orange juice ,and a little baylis after that. I'll never forget that. I got drunk on my cousin's bday:))) He was celebrating his 16th bday. I'm from eastern Europe and the age for legal drinking over there is 18, but nobody really cares. I don't regret it that I tryied. Anyway, I'm not an alcoholic. I'm an athlete, so I hope that answers your question p.s. I think that there's a BIG difference between my generation and the kids nowadays. Nowadays, I think it is more likely to get addicted not just to alcohol, but anything because it's easier to get it.

I'm against underage drinking but I'm not going to preach because it's your decision to make not mine, but the main thing that you may want to consider is how unhealthy alcohol is. All of the girls I know (I'm 21) that started drinking when they were 14 are EXTREMELY over weight and have very low self respect, they think the only way to get attention or have an extended conversation is through alcohol or talking about how drunk they got one time. Just think about other crutch's you could use for social problems/ internal conflicts/ emotions.

If you only drink with meals, you would be okay. The food absorbs a good deal of the alcohol. In Europe, children drink wine with their meals.
Have you seen your doctor about the depression? There are much better methods to deal with depression than drinking. I have the opposite problem - anxiety. I take Paxil CR. It's actually supposed to work for both anxiety and depression.

so now why do you think most provinces and states have a legal drinking age? if you keep boozing at such a young age you will be brain dead before you are 21. aint you got any thing else better to do? when i was 14 i lived in a town where the most exiting thing to do was watch the grass grow but as young teens we didnt take up boozing. i wonder do you just enjoy hangovers and up chucking you toes. to finish boozing at 14 almost garantes you no future in life so give it a rest pop is cheaper

There is a future for you. It can be good or bad. You know what is good. Drinking clouds the mind and makes you feel good for a while. It takes you to another place. That place is NOT real. Please do not try to replace reality with drink or drugs. I know it is hard to cope sometimes but you must NEVER give up. Keep your head up high and believe that you can overcome and you can. I know you can . Please never give up! If you really want help and can't ask your parents , maybe you could ask someone you know that doesn't drink or do drugs. It would be best to get a Dr.s help [if]you can't stop .

Brain Dead by 18; if you live that long. Alcohol ruins the brain in young people. Pregnant mothers are told not to drink because they can damage their babies
You need to stop. Alcohol is a very dangerous drug. Ask you parents to help you get off the booze.

they have done studies and found that teenagers that drink alcohol have a higher chance of becoming an alcoholic. They also have found that the brain isn't fully developed in teenagers and the alcohol causes problems with the brain. Don't drink because it isn't worth the risk.
