My mother is Catholic, my father is Muslim. I follow both. So I have quite an expanded view on religion. Call me an unbeliever if you like, for it does not affect me, because all I need to know is that "I" am a believer. I think that long as it is a belief in God, I accept the religion as I would if it were a brother. Mainly Judaism, Christianity, and Islam (and other religions that believe in God that I have not mentioned, particularly sects that branch off these three major families of faiths). It's a shame that there are feuds between parties from these different religions; sure, each religion has beliefs that others would not accept, and that may even scowl at the faith for it, but deep down in the nitty gritties of each of the beliefs, the foundation, the core, the derivation, they all believe in the same thing, God. And even more, it is the same God. Yahweh, God,and Allah all have the same meaning, not in just the word itself, but in what it is, yet all are different languages. So what is the big fuss?
Oh yeah, by the way, when people refer to other Abrahamic religions other than their own, there is no "My God", it is "Our God". He is the creator of all, so we all have an equal share. Yahoo answers user elanabutcher, who is three slots below my answer, has a perfect example about this, the knocking on the door thing I.E. "my way or the highway".
What I feel toward other, non God, religions? Well that is another story. Sure, I respect them, we are all free to believe in what we want to believe. But it is tough for me to accept a faith that does not have some relation with God.

Since our generation and the past 3 generations have never seen God in the flesh, I feel that there is no 1 true religion. So long as a person has good moral values and believes in a higher power then they are my brother or sister. Anyone that says that their religion is "the only way to get to heaven" is sorely wrong and has not properly read their bible. The bible doesnt teach religion. It teaches brotherhood of man.

I myself have no problems at all with other religions. However, I do resent it when they come knocking on my door to tell me their way is the right way and the only way.
I am very humble in my beliefs about my religion and there are times when I would like to shout my beliefs from a rooftop, but that is not appropriate. I do not feel we need to convert people because "our way is the only right way". There are many different religions around, because everyone in the universe is at a different level of spirituality.
Live and let live.

I have a great respect for religions that are not my own where the members don't proselytize, annoy, and spout hatred and dogma. I enjoy the company of Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, and most Christians, though I consider myself an atheist (formerly a liberal Christian). I feel that people who have comfortably integrated faith into their lives and have respect for the beliefs and opinions of others are good to be around. However, I have problems with fundamentalists and evangelicals of all stripes and those who are unwilling to challenge or disapprove of certain aspects of their faith simply because some book written thousands of years ago, thousands of kilometres away told them to.

me=Christianity, but I respect the peacefullness of some like Buddhist, or Hindus. Jews seem a little conceited like they were the chosen ones, and everyone else is wrong. Muslims, I don't get it. To me, if you kill someone who doesn't believe the same as you, then thats really satanism in disguise. Shame, cause Muslims, Christians, and Jews have some deep similarities (Moses, etc)
I get disgusted at scientology, as that is a slap in the face of God.

I think that anybody who is making an effort to be a good person by being honest, kind, understand ind and not judging others and believing in God and Jesus is great. I don't care the religion, I would rather deal with one who is a good person, and not religious than one who is hiding behind their religion and an not so good a person.

Of course I believe that believe in Jesus and He is the only way to go to heaven. I don't agree with other teachings but I respect them. I believe that most people that have any religion honor it.
Being a Christian, I am not going to judge anyone. Hope this helps.

I'm Christian. However I like reading about Buddhism as I like their wisdom. I'm glad that Christianity is very relaxed & do not impose restrictions & control on basic stuff like food, clothes, how many times a day to pray etc., etc.
We are not expected to hate, kill or convert others to achieve prosperity.

I feel their path will lead to heaven as does mine. Their's is just different. The fact we share so many similarities makes me unconcerned to the differences.
