of ALL of the "perves" you've heard or read about, what percentage of the over 500,000 registered offenders does this minute number of "perves" represent?
I am not in favor of offenders but I certainly am not caught up in the mass hysteria and paranoia that presently pervades society today. Yes, I know, sexual offenders cannot be cured. What I also know is that sexual offenders can apparently control their behavior. If not, then I ask again, of the numbers that make the news, what is the percentage in relation to the 1/2 million + that appear to be no threat?
Why not cut out all teen dating, school proms, boy/girl recreational situations, etc. The chance for unwelcome sexual conduct is certainly no stranger in these events. Let's just put all of the "potential" offenders on an island and blow them up.

We need stronger laws and punishment for any and all kinds of pervs. The shape our nation is in now is due in part to unconcern on the part of our judges, juries and parole boards. Any kind of "perverted offense" should call for capital punishment. Some childrens and other peoples lives have been ruined forever by perverts.

Well I have been telling everyone this for criminals for 20 years. Why spend millions of dollars from tax payers to house & feed them. We could save billions .....
