Anyone can mail a letter to Santa at the North Pole (located in Canada, not Alaska by the way)

Volunteers at Canada post will reply to the letter.

Rest assured that all mail addressed to Santa will be delivered to the North Pole. While Santa certainly gets his share of international mail, his address is completely valid and he has one of the most recognizable postal codes in the world - HO HO HO. Letters addressed to Santa will have no trouble reaching their destination, however, he has asked us to remind all of his pen-pals, no matter where they live, that it is very important to include their return address so that he can write back.

The volunteer Canada Post employees who help Santa with his mail would like to add that while Santa likes to receive the beautiful crayon drawings many children include in their letters, the envelopes should be addressed in ink, to make sure the address doesn't smudge or become unreadable. As always, Canada Post encourages all children (and adults!) to do their holiday mailings early - Santa is ready to receive his letters anytime!

Santa's address is:

SANTA CLAUS
NORTH POLE HOH OHO CANADA

Help your children write a letter to santa, then secretly craft a response and seal it in a seperate stamped envelope addressed to your child/children. Mail "Santa's" reply to

North Pole Christmas
Cancellation Postmaster
5400 Mail Trail
Fairbanks, AK 99709-9998

Get it in before December 15, and your response will have an official postmark from the North Pole.

Merry Christmas!

from me!

Dear ,

It’s getting very close to Christmas and my elves are very busy getting presents for all of the good boys and girls in . Soon we will be loading up the sleigh and making a special trip to visit you and your family in . Mrs. Claus and I wanted to let you know that we are very proud of you . You and have been very good this year.

I have several more letters to write and Rudolph still needs to be fed, so I am going to wrap this letter up. Keep up the good behavior and I will see you soon.

Love,

Santa

I know that the post office has a little setup where you can write 'Santa' and he writes back, either through email or letter.

Sorry to ruin the holiday spirit but Santa is fake. He's a fairytale character.

You can write one. Otherwise, you will have to pay for it.
