The Pharasees where spiritual leaders in the community and that carried a very high office. They were rich money lovers and had a lot of influence in the government.
Here comes this simple man out of the wilderness and starts preaching and heals the sick and raises the dead.
Gives to the poor. Made them look bad and they tried to find ways to trap him so they could kill him.
I wonder what these rich religious leaders would do today if someone out of the wilderness started preaching to help the poor. The religious leaders are behind the Republicans who rob from the poor and give to the rich. I feel certain if Jesus came they would comdem him.

Jesus is the son of God. People that were jealous of Him hated Him when He was here on earth. God sent Him so that he could show us how to lead a sinless life. Since we are sinners we can not do this. Because God loved us so much He allowed the jealous people (including us) to kill Him. This paved the way for believers to go to heaven forever. Read the books of the bible that talk about the life of Jesus. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
This will help explain the whole story. I hope this helps.

A person would have to understand the reason that Jesus was born to answer this question. The fact that He was born of a virgin, and that He willingly gave up the qhost. They would have to look closely at the prayer in the garden. He sweat drops of blood because He willingly took on our sins. That is why He cried out on the cross.."Father why has thou forsaken me?" God cannot look on sin. Jesus was and is the word of God in the flesh. He arose again and defeated death hell and the grave. People did not over power Him. He willingly did this so that persons might have communion with God the Father. It's for who so ever will? Now I have a question. Are you a who so ever will?

Why does anyone kill anyone? I think it's because of fear, anger, hatred....any reason that is the opposite of love. Fear is probably the best answer. The high priests of Jesus's time feared the popularity Jesus's message was bringing to the people because it was drawing them to Jesus instead of them. Jesus taught to love one another no matter what your societal position is.....it's a hard thing to follow when you have fear of things unknown to you, like other religions, countries, races, etc. People of the world still are driven by fear and do not want to accept this basic universal law.....love.

Jesus is a god, but he is not God, but the Son of God. He existed as a spirit being, the second most powerful after God himself, and after Lucifer rebelled against God to become Satan the devil, Gods plan to have perfect humans in a paradise earth was put on hold, since Adam & eve sinned to become imperfect. The devil then claimed that he could make any human sin, even a perfect one. Jesus then was born to a human by conception through God's holy spirit to become a perfect human and live his entire life as a perfact human without sinning. The devil tried to get Jesus to sin on 3 occasions, but he had no hold on Jesus, and Jesus prevailed every time. The prophecy about Jusus was that he would come to redeem mankind from the sin of Adam and Eve, so that God's original purpose to have an eternal paradise on earth could resume at a future date. Also the prophecy stated that sinful humans would kill him, and they did just so. But since Jesus died a perfect human, he was resurrected on the third day back to the spirit realm that he had come from. It is because of this sacrafice, and shameful death that we sinful humans could earn eternal life, if we follow the teachings and commands that Jesus taught us while He lived on earth.....KECK .

Jesus came to live among men to bring the message of redemption through faith in Him as the savior. He came to die for our sins that all of us who believe and have faith can be forgiven for our sins. The people that killed Jesus were afraid of His power and how it would affect their own position. They could not accept that God had sent the Messiah and that change was upon them. People have always attacked that which they do not comprehend or accept. The Pharisees killed only the human manifestation of Christ. His message had been delivered and Christianity established.

Jesus is not almighty god. The bible gives him the title god because of his powerful works. Just like the title "doctor". Anyone who qualifies could be called a doctor. But, not all doctors are of equal expertise or knowledge.

This is the same way with those possesing the title "god" in the Bible. In fact Jesus himself admitted that: (a) his Father is greater than he is, (b) he is a worshipper of God, and (c) he has limited powers like: he does not know the time of the end, he does not have authority to decide who will sit at his right hand.

You are right. Jesus was killed and so he is not almighty god.

Never mind those hard headed trinitarians who insist on twisting the bible to suit their pagan inspired belief.

Depending on your religious background and belief, Jesus is not necessarily God unless you are in reference to the trinitarian belief of God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost being the same spirit, when really, they are the same IN spirit, not the same being. Jesus is quoted as the SON of God, and God sent him down to earth to die for our sins. According to the BIBLE the whole thing was planned and Jesus knew of his fate long before it ever occurred.
I am uncertain as to why he had to die the way he did, but from what I have gathered it was to show that we could be forgiven anything if we accept the SON of GOD into our lives and recognize what he did for us. It is as confusing as it is contraversial. What matters is what makes sense to you.

We are ALL guilty of the death of Jesus because He died to pay God's penalty for EVERYONE'S sins. It was the only way God could reach your heart...

And yes, Jesus IS God...

Read the Gospel of John in the New Testament in the Bible...
