Wow...a real eye opener! I will have to tell my pastor when I see him later tonight. There is just something really cool about being an abomination, isn't there? Do you know that it is an abomination in the eyes of God to judge other's morals and "sins?" You need to do a bit more reading before you graduate the ministries...right now, you are just a bore.

I think Ted Haggard might be one of the ones that realize it now. Or at least that it is an abomination to lie about being gay while you are leading a religious crusade against them!

Are you trying to say that it is worse than any other sin? Proverbs 15:9 The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness. John 8:4-8 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
Jeremiah 17:13 O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

It's an abomination in my eyes to be a homophobe. If god is truly a benevolent god, then you are a vessel of hatred and an abomination in his eyes too.

So "God" doesn't like people to be happy?
That must mean what you are talking about.

See it's really weird the other way according to most Christian belief. So "God" made people the way they are. Science has discovered that sexual identity is something you are born with. So "God" made people he claims are abominations?

I know some folks wrote it down a few thousand years ago and it keeps getting repeated. But I doubt anyone really understands how God sees things!

There is no use to get into other people's business. If they are gay leave them alone and if you are religious just focus on yourself. By pointing fingers and shouting "SINNER" in every direction you arent causing any good. That's my advice.

I know, they would to if them would look it up
But God loves them too, that is a sin and we all have sinned, and do sin because we are in this fleshly body that has not yet been perfected.
John said if we say we have no sin we make God a liar and the truth is not in us, yet we are to strive not to sin and if we do we can ask for forgiveness and he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
Let us not judge harshly or at all.
We are not the judge,
We have one judge and Father of all
Walk in the light where you have found it, if you have not found the light to walk in, how can you walk in it?
Let us love one another and be kind to one another
Love covers a multitude of sins
