You need to talk to him and find out for yourself. Your friend could be the one behind all of this maybe told him this for there own reason. You see what happens our great friends get Jealous of what we have and they want to try to stop it or try to take it away from you. This is the way it is for the rest of your life.

I could be wrong but you sound young so my response is that you should just be totally honest with him and tell him how you feel. If he is still acting immature well if he is young he is immature so he is acting his age. Find someone else to talk to that you are interested in.

He probably knows your friend told you that so he thinks that you are mad at him or that you don't like him anymore so he tryinng to avoid you, but you should probably just talk to him and try to work things out.
