I was thinking Wii when I first saw the question, but since your boyfriend is 14 and guessing you are almost the same age it might be too expensive. Try getting him a nice shirt you like or even try buying Wii. :)

being 14 is the tough part. But mabye you could get him something with his favorite sports team on it, like a watch or something like that. My boyfriends always seemed to like what ever I got them hey if its from the heart i'm sure he will love it.
