Hi,
The actual trick to make a house seem taller is not only in the paint so much.It is also in the design.First of all curtains, hang them as high as possible, that will give the illusion of a high wall(very important)Second, your focal point? If it is your fireplace give that height as well, even if it's a mirror or simply artwork.

A border around the top with a stripe will make it look taller after you paint it and will look very pretty.

purely one wall might want to be the perfect contact. My room is turquoise and the single wall in the back of my mattress is lime eco-friendly. I say it makes the room extremely interesting and diverse. it is also conceivable to flow to a save the position paint is provided and do a color journey with your bedspread to get the perfect warm purple paint. solid success, desire you want your new room :D !

I don't know what it's called, but you can paint the ceiling in different colors to make it look recessed.

Don't paint the celing!!! Definatly do a light color, or else you will make everything look smaller, and more closed in!!! Good Luck and Happy painting!
