Why did the blond keep going back and forth across the road?

Here is my answer. Someone told the blond to go stand on the other side of the road. When she got to the other side she realized that she was now on “this side” of the road instead of the “other side”, so she crossed again to the other side. And so on.

she kept trying to get to the other side...she realized that when she got to the other side, the side she was primarly on is NOW the other side, and kept doing that.
