I own this genie!
It makes life in the kitchen so easy!
Love it!

Try this

Tapenade

Serve the tapenade on toasted garlic-rubbed crostini, your guests will be clammering for more! lol

3/4 lb pitted black olives, well drained
3-4 anchovy fillets
2 tablespoons capers
1-2 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
6 sprigs fresh thyme leaves (leaves only)
1/4 cup olive oil
2-3 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Tabasco sauce or 1 dash cayenne pepper

Place all the ingredients in the blender (except the tabasco or cayenne) pulse a couple times to blend.

Add in the olive oil and pulse a couple more times to form a coarse thick paste.

Add in Tabasco or cayenne pepper to taste.

Cover and chill a minumum of 6 hours before spooning on crostini.

Sun Dried Tomato Sauce

8 1/2 ounces bella sun sun-dried tomatoes with Italian herbs, drained
1 cup onions, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup carrots, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
56 ounces canned whole tomatoes, undrained
2/3 cup chablis or other white wine
1 teaspoon dried fennel seed
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Drain dried tomatoes, reserving ¼ oil.

Chop tomatoes, and set aside.

Heat reserved oil in a dutch oven, sauté onion, celery, carrot and garlic in hot oil 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in dried tomatoes, wine fennel seeds, and pepper.

Cook, uncovered over medium heat 1 hour or to desired consistency, stirring mixture occasionally.

In blender add half of sauce mixture and pulse 4 or 5 times or until mixture is chopped but not smooth.

Repeat the same procedure with remaining half of sauce mixture.

Serve over hot pasta.

Good Luck.

I have one too and I LOVE it also!!!

Try this:
Fill the tall cup w/ crushed ice from your fridge and add a little of your favorite soda. It can be any flavor, but it only takes a little liquid. Then blend it up and you have a frozen coke, root beer, or whatever!! My kids think they're great! And the best part is they're actually only getting a small amount of soda!! We've also tried it w/ orange & pinapple juice.

Enjoy!!

YES! My boyfriend bought me one for my birthday last month!
He likes to go to Sonic for their cherry lime slush. He's diabetic, so I make a sugar-free version. I take "Sonic" ice (my favorite) and add a pack of sugar-free Kool-Ade mix. (They have the single serving packets.) Then, I add some lime juice. Crush it up, and it's wonderful!

I also make lots of smoothies and killer daiquiris! YUMMY!

I pretty much use it to make smoothies. I use fruit (I buy frozen and let it partially thaw in the winter), juice, yogurt, and ice.
