Cats dont like the smell of citrus furits like oranges and lemons. prehaps you could get an orange sented thing or place a few oranges peals around where you dont want them to go. Its a bit messy I know but its a safe and cheep solution. Hope that helps

This might help:

Also, wash the quilt with an enzyme cleaner that will get rid of all traces of urine scent. If there's any trace of urine scent on it, that will tell kitty that it's an appropriate place to go. You can find enzyme cleaners at the grocery store, and you can find specialty products at pet shops or at http://www.petfooddirect.com/

After you've cleaned the quilt, maybe you should put t away somewhere for a while, just to be sure kitty's habit gets broken.

Put away all the quilts and put 2 litter boxes in easily accessible places but distant from each other so each cat has its own. May be territorial.

Obviously they both still smell their scent. You may have to discard the quilt. Their urine scent has probably penetrated the cracks behind the toilet. Try washing it with white vinegar and water, if that doesn't get rid of the scent, I don't know what else will. keep that door shut!

I actual have a cat that does that too. (wager the place she is suited now!) the terrific suggestion that i'll supply you is which you would be able to push her off and pass her as much as you prefer, yet a cat is going to do regardless of she needs to do. Cats are in simple terms obdurate like that.

You need to have them examined by your vet. One of the most common reasons a cat goes "outside" the box is a urinary tract infection. Get them to a doctor!!!

i stopped my cat from doing that by rubbing her face in the wee, giving her a slap, growling at her and throwing her outside for a while

It worked wanders - dotn feel bad, you cannot reason with animals as they cannot talk. so they need old fashioned discipline.

My cats conditioned to know that:
(wee on my stuff) = (slap in the face)

nice bit of pavlovian science

get them 'done' otherwise the male will continue marking out his teretorry this way.

feed the cats in the bathroom as close as you can get to where the female goes - cat's won't poo near their food

If your male cat is not fixed.. do that.. if not.. he will NEVER stop it. Take it from me... it will help. as for the other one.. put the litter box there behing the toilet or as close as you can. Good Luck!
