It all depends.
Does he know for certain that he's going to college? If so, where? How far away is it?
Can you handle being separated from each other for extended periods of time?
How often will you be able to see each other? How would you arrange this?
Will you both stay in contact?
Can you trust him around all those college girls?
Can he trust you around all those high school boys?
The 2 of you will have to address these issues at some point. But college is still a ways off for him. For now, enjoy each other's company. Don't worry just yet. Cross that bridge when you come to it.

Hm. ive been in this situation b4 & honestly, i dont think it's gonna end up being that bad of a relationship. U just have to trust and respect him for goin to college and all that. And dont even worry about him leaving for college cuz u guys still got a year anyway! Have fun while u can and just worry about stuff later. And if u 2 are really serious after a year of dating, college WONT make any difference. =]

Well, of course it can work, but I would be cautious. I believe it is safest for freshman to date other freshman, maybe even sophomores. Junior and Senior guys on the other hand, I have heard horror stories of them taking advantage of naive girls.

I'm a freshman dating a senior! It will work out just trust him okay! If he had the guts enough to date you then he is ready to walk though fire for you. He has more then likely had to deal with problems with his friends about you being a freshman but he's still with you right? Which means that this one is the one for you! Good luck girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

110 % agree with " dana". If you looking to find you husband now it is worth a year of trying, if not you have a year of fun, unless your having fun means mathematical puzzle and sudoku 24/7....
