After 8 months, I saw my ex boyfriend at the university campus that we both attend. He seemed REALLY happy to see me, he was smiling and looking deeply into my eyes, he kept asking me all these questions. I kinda seemed annoyed. At the end of the conversation, he said "give me a shoutout and we can do something", & I just looked at him, and he said "yeah we can see a movie together or anything you want", I just said bye and walked away. He was the one who dumped me 8 months ago. Today he put "Casino Royale" as his msn quote. He likes James Bond movies & the new one is coming out tomorrow. I logged in msn today and he didn’t start a conversation with me & he didn’t ask me to see the movie with me. Since he hasn’t asked me for this movie does this mean that all his happiness & “let’s see a movie” was fake?

By the way, we had a very innocent relationship, it never went past kissing cuz he knows I'm saving sex for marriage. Could he be hesitating cuz I seemed annoyed when I saw him and I didn't go on msn for 5 days after that? Why isn't he making the first step?

My Bf did that to me. dumped me and than later he im me asking me to hang out. everything was cool until not too long ago. Hard it is may be, i say forget about him and find a man who will treat you with the respect you deserve.

Maybe he's realizing how much he needs you. If you flirted with a guy, and he gave you a pathetic little smile, wouldn't you take the hint? Why don't you start a conversation with him yourself? It can't hurt. Maybe he was feeling lonely and needed the company, if you can't get him off your mind, and want to see that movie with him, ask him. Maybe even apologize for your cold behavior (i didn't say it wasn't necessary). Just try talking to him again, if he seems eager, his happiness was real, if he seems dull, forget about him.

Maybe he really broke it off to be with someone else who was giving it up. He knows now that it wasn't worth it. You will hear from him again.
