So, my best friend (who has a boyfriend) and my other friend (single) and I were talking about going down town one night during the X-mas season and going on one of those horse carriage rides and then out to dinner. My best friend suggested it would be fun if we all had boyfriends/dates YES it would. She is the only one with a boyfriend however. My single friend said she would get this Orlando to go with her, but she always says stuff like that and it never happens. Then my best friend suggested that she set me up with one of her cousins.

Would that be awkward since she’d be with her boyfriend while her cousin was around? Or am I being weird/ overly paranoid?

Why can't the single ones just go along and have a good time as friends? Why do you have to have a date? Are you not emotionally strong women and not weepy wallflowers? Come on girls - stand up for who you are - without a boyfriend is not a bad thing - with the wrong boyfriend you don't even know - that could be a bad thing. It could be nice to meet her cousin, but why does it have to be like a romantic date kind of thing - if it's awkward to you - it's just awkward - and that's okay for you to feel that way.

You are being paranoid...but...you ought to check out the cousin first...he could have zits, craters, bad teeth bad breath and BO....!!! Now that would be a fun first date on a horse drawn carriage under a blanket...don't you think?

No, youre not being weird/overly paranoid, but you are being a complete retard.
just kidding.
No, I believe you are being paranoid...I find nothing absolutely wrong with that....I wouldnt mind my bf's cousin being around us.. He's kinda hot and looks like Terrel Owens.

sounds to me like you friend is just looking out for you. I think that if she was going to have some kind of problem with it she would not have suggested it in the first place. If you never try nothing in life you get nothing out of life.

No, she wants your company and happy and will go out of her way to make that happen. It might be fun to go out on a date with your best friend and your dates. It's just a date, it's not like your going to marry him.

Relax & enjoy the evening out with one of her cousins. She's your best friend & knows you real well. She also knows her cousin.
