Ok i have the recipe for a Double Chocolate Cake - and it has the best (and easiest) icing ever!
Makes one 23cm cake
(need two pans or takes time using one)
Ingredients
CAKE
125g butter, softened
3/4 cup caster sugar
2 eggs
1+1/4 cups self-raising flour
6 tablespoons custard powder
1/3 cups cocoa powder
1/2 cup water
ICING
125g butter
1+1/3 cups icing sugar, sifted
1/2cup cocoa powder
2 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons of Jam (i like strawberry it goes well but whatever you like.)
lollies to decorate
1. Turn oven to 180c or 350f, grease round cake tin(s).
2. Put butter, sugar, eggs, flour and 2T of custard powder in mixing bowl.
3. Separate evenly into another mixing bowl
4. Add cocoa powder to one bowl, and remaining custard powder to the other.
5. Add 1/2 of the water to each bowl (1/4cup), beat for 2 minutes on low, then 4 minutes on high speed - each bowl.
6. Spread evenly into separate tins. Bake 30 mins. Turn onto rack to cool. If have two tins great if not just back one after the other.
7. Put butter, icing sugar, cocoa and milk in a small bowl.
8. Beat 1 minute on low then 4 minutes on high speed
9. Spread butter cream and jam on one half and then put other half on top. Spread all over with butter cream and decorate.
This taste so good. If i were you i would make extra icing because it always seem to spread thin and it always disappear before it reaches the cake. ;)
Another thing is to not have butter cream in the middle but jam and cream or strawberries and cream, then you dont need extra icing because you'll have the stuff from the middle to go around.
Enjoy

It’s spicy! It’s sweet! It’s a great Thanksgiving treat! Why not make it part of your family tradition?
Prep time: 25 min.
Baking time: 50-60 min.
Decoration time: 15 min.
Difficulty: Easy
What you'll need:
1 bag MILKY WAY® Brand FUN SIZE®, unwrapped
3 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 sticks butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
1 15-oz. can solid pumpkin
1/2 cup apple cider
5 tablespoons condensed milk
12-cup bundt cake pan
What to do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Reserve 10 MILKY WAY® Brand FUN SIZE® bars to be used in the drizzle. Chop the remaining candy. Reserve 1/2 cup of chopped candy for decoration.
Combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, baking soda and salt, and set aside.
In a separate bowl, cream the butter with the sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, and stir in the pumpkin puree. The mixture will be loose and wet.
Using a low speed blender, mix the flour with the batter, one third at a time. Blend well after each addition. Stir in the apple cider until smooth.
Spoon half of the batter into a greased and floured bundt pan. Using the chopped candy, make a layer on top of the batter. Cover with the remaining batter (leaving the reserved 1/2 cup of chopped candy for decoration).
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven, transfer to a wire rack, and let cool completely.
Gently loosen the sides of the cake from the pan, and invert it onto a cake plate. Unmold the cake from the pan, letting it carefully slip out.
To make the drizzle, melt the reserved MILKY WAY® Brand FUN SIZE® bars with condensed milk, either in a saucepan over medium low heat, or for about 20-30 seconds in the microwave. Drizzle the MILKY WAY® mixture over the top of the cooled cake. Decorate the top of the cake with a sprinkle of the 1/2 cup of reserved chopped candy.
TIP: If you don’t have a bundt cake pan, simply bake the cake in a 9 x 13-inch greased baking pan for 35 to 40 minutes in a 350 degree oven, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
