died this morning, what could have caused this for it to die out of the blue like that from just seeing the vet the day before..

That doesnt sound to good at all sweety, i am sorry to hear of your kittens death, i think you need to go to the vet and find out what they did the other day to your cat before it had died and find out if this cat has the same illness or could get the same illness or something, but dont let them do anything with out your permission. And if all fails blame it on the vet...LOL

There are many reasons why it could have passed away. I suggest contacting your vet. I also suggest having your other kitten looked at again (perhaps by a different vet) because your sick kitten could have passed on whatever it was that it had to your healthy kitten.You should keep a really close eye on her for a while.

Go back to the vet. You want to make sure that your living kitten is safe and does not have the same infection or health problem that your other cat had.

im truly sorry for ur loss! kittens are delcate. it could of been sick from its mom or stess or anything else. when i got my first dog after a week when i went in the hospital with my first asthma attack my dog was not well my brother rushed it to the vet and he was very sick.. he was sick from the mom birth when it got born. Also maybe stess since i was its owner. they coudl not save him but the pet shop gave me a refunde and a new dog. but i sure miss my first one too. even thought i had him for a week! or so!
MAY GOD BE WITH YOUR KITTY! i lost my quaker parrot on june 13, 2006 so i know the feeling :(

If you don't know the reason why he died, go back to the vet and find out why, or call and ask that question.
Did he do blood tests, or x-rays please ask to see them.
You paid the price to see the vet and from my experience you need to find out why.
Sometimes we don't want to question our vets, but indeed do so.

I am so sorry to hear about the death of your kitten. Kittens don't have much cushion-- if they get sick they can die much faster than a full grown cat. It might have had a congenital defect.
