I don't know about the rest of you parents, but if I saw that happening to one of my sons I'd take the perpetrators apart piece by piece.

I'm pretty sure my human father would let me die--not all parents are as loving as you are--your kids are lucky

God was and is still watching the death of His Son, since God exists outside of time, and sees all of time at once, for all eternity. God did not take action against His Son's killers because (1) it was the will of God the Father and God the Son that God the Son be sacrificed for our sins. However, God does not intervene in other acts of savage cruelty and sin either, because (2) He created men with free will, which means He must allow human beings to freely choose evil if that is their preference.

Yes he did see and I would be very afraid if I was a person who threw that sinless sacrifice back in his face. When I died I would be petrified. There have been many people who have been dead and had started to be pulled away by demons and have just screamed for Jesus and at the last moment was saved but, that does not mean that all will be afforded that grace to call on his name. They were resuscitated and told of what happened and turned their life totally around.

I believe He was watching, but knowing why it was allowed would possibly make it bearable. Many people throughout history have had to watch their children die: in concentration camps, starving to death, executed after conviction for crimes they did or did not commit, become slaves ... the list is nearly endless, watching you sons/daughters go to fight a war .... another very good reason to believe only a God would have created us, or put up with us. I sometimes think about how hard it must have been for John the Baptist, Isaac, Abraham as they watch the reason for their faith being humiliated. Bet the angels had their hands full keeping them from trying to help him.

I think before all this happened they talked about it kinda like war your platoon leader lets you know it's gonna get ugly. Christ was chosen cause he was the only and strongest one for the job. He probably could of backed out but choose not to and it made sense to let one be sacrificied to save the multitude and it was not an ordinary one it was a super one. He will take the perps apart in due time.

Yes, God and His Angels were watching and He could have sent tens of thousands of Angels down to save His Son, but He didn't. Jesus knew His mission when He came to Earth which was to suffer and die on the Cross to save us from Satan's power. and show us the way to Life Everlasting.

Jesus was Humble, and Obedient, even to His Death on the cross.

What Bible do you read? Nowhere in my Bible does it say that Jesus was butchered. Scourged, yes. Abused, certainly. But not butchered. And what He did He came to do. Peter tried to dissuade Him, and leave before they took Him, and He said to Peter " Get thee behind me, Satan." The taking apart piece by piece will commence at the judgement for those who did not accept Him and His gift to mankind. For there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Love in Christ Jesus, and peace be with you. DL

God was not watching Jesus get "butchered", contrary to the above people's distorted belief.
In reality, God lost a game of strip poker to The Buddha and Colonel Sanders.

That was apart of the plan.
John 3:16.
Look it up and maybe then it will be clear how much God loves you.
If some people these days could just get that through their heads, maybe it would be easier for them to believe.

He knew it was going to happen. God sent Jesus to pay the price for all of humanities sins. Jesus did this willingly because He loved us. Even as they crucified Him He prayed for them saying "Father forgive them for they know not what they do". No other love is greater than that!
