will game data be saved to game cube memory cards or do use wii memory cards can u buy new memory cards when the internal memory fills up or when it fills up is that all the data it can hold

The new Wii will use SD cards or it has 512 mb of internal storage.

It has 512 MB of internal flash RAM, so you don't need a memory card unless you want to transfer files to another Wii console (say, transfer save-game files to a friend's Wii).

From what I gather, yes both Internal and GameCube cards. However, the wikipedia entry also gives me the impression that you'll be able to use USB memory sticks.

i think it has both. you will be able to use wii points to download classic games from previous systems, and it uses gamecube memory cards too.
