Dominic - You are so right, I have always felt that America needs to look out for America first. If a country has a war, yeah lets provide aid for the citizens, if it is a long term close ally like Great Britan, yeah lets go help out, but not fight the war for them. I belive countries need to be left alone to evolve into what they need to become.

I will say num.2. The middle class is the modern slavery. We work like ants for multinationals companies or other exploitations places to get a "life"that we can never achieve completely. In my area the only way to survive is by been a poor or enter the rich layer. If you're a poor the government will bring you a place to live, free schools, free medications, free education and basically no taxation. If you are in the middle class you have to pay for everything and the government will catch a big part of your salary. The rich in the other hand have the money to pay the things they needed and the government help them to make more money. That's the out full truth of the middle class in America and the rest of the World.

Honestly neither wants it fixed. Think about it! Latinos usually vote Democrat, so the more they get to vote for them the better. Dems start to go against immigration, they lose all those votes. Illegal immigrants will work for very low wages. Republicans won't touch it because illegal immigration provides them with a steady flow of cheap labor. They may moan about how they wish it would stop and how they want to double security or build a fence or guard towers or a neat moat with a strange monster in it, but no one will ever do more than a token gesture.

#2 for sure, you are so right but illegal immigration is adding to a lot of these problems.Cheaper labor means less and no jobs for middleclass. Insurance rising because of all the illegals draining the hospitals, drugs, where do you think 90% of drugs comes from? And terror, of course, if we cant keep a 15 year old pregnant girl out, whats to say about a very powerful terrorist with unlimited resources?
So I would say illegal immigration

My biggest concerns are , the war in Iraq, rising cost of gasoline, rising cost of health, the rumor of SS running out, increasing taxes, the youth on drugs ( I have three kids) and terrorism in the world! Illegals are the least of my concerns!

The war in iraq is a major issue. weve been thre for too long already. we need to find a way to get our troops out very very soon. We will never win the war on terror as long as it comes to guerilla warfare. We are trying too hard to be the worlds police and now its catching up to us.

drugs? drugs are always gonna be there, cross that one off... insurance thing is right, NAFTA is right, middle class is on the endangered list, because most are going to low class by putting kids to collage. the war on iraq and terror are pretty much the same thing. what i'd like to see is gay marrage and abortion stuff.

Well, I'm not real happy about the Dems winning Congress, but I'm trying to see a bright side to that. I figure that by the time the next Presidential election rolls around, they will have screwed things up so badly that the Republican candidate will win by a landslide.
