Yes I do.
Airbus showed Boeing the way of the future when it designed the A300. Since the introduction of the A300 Boeing has never certified a new four-engined aicraft and they have no plans to. If the 747 wasn't already certified, I think Boeing would have abandoned the four engined market completely, its just too small.
Airbus's A340 was a low risk (since it has commonality with the A330) attempt to get a share of the four-engined market. But now with ETOPS, a twin can go virtually anywhere an have enough capacity to run on the thickest routes.
I think the A380 couldl be a jet that is passed its time before it enters service. Mind you, the 747-100 had many problems initially but the 747 has been a big success.

The short term irritations of high tech work.
Big high technology jobs have significant risks and many are undertaken in the expectation of continues miracles by the engineers that design these things. And they just keep on delivering.
Boeing are making hay while the sun shines, but the 787 hasn't flown yet and is less efficient anyway. In the long run this is a minor issue.
I am not concerned about the embarrasment and what the stock market thinks, the stock market is a numbers game designed to take money off suckers and make brokers rich. The performance of a stock has little to do with a company, it's a bit like fantasy football or whatever.
I'd be a bit concerned that Airbus might be missing the boat if Boeing were doing something revolutionary like a flying wing, but they are just making another largish twin jet.
By the way, didn't Boeing have to scrap a fuselage section for a 787, ah yes, see the link below.

They are just another contractor stealing tax-payers money, who cares? F the aviation industry, maybe if these geniuses can come up with a new technology I would be more thoughtful and interested, but making commuter jets bigger is not my idea of a big step in aviation. And who are the other anti-airbus folks? You mean Boeing, Bombardier, Lockheed Martin, and others if there are any? They would all take a juicy contract from the US government if they could, even though we all know who has the newest and most advanced technologies in flight today. Fill our skies with giant steel coffins, great idea. I think it's time for our government to release their hidden flying technology to you guys before we have planes the size of Rhode Island flying all these idiots around the world.

They are a billionaire company they will be fine. Me myself i love aviation, and i love to watch Air Crash Investigation and Airbus are really safe and great designed planes. I'm still a Boeing fan aswell. I just think the main part of aviation is care and maitenance. I think the A380 will more than make up for the loss. I mean you seen the sales the weeks after it was launched.

Airbus makes great planes, I know. But I do believe that the problem with the A380, is that they developed the plane waaaaay to fast, and did not test it enough before launching it. Had they taken it one step at the time, it would have worked tremendouslly.. and because of the way they just jumped into this race for new high capacity transporter, I do not feel sorry for them, because remember, in the end, it's U and me who will be passangers in those aircraft, and only those planes that are safe enough can be allowed for commercial use.

Why would you feel sorry for a company like Airbus? They continue to build aircraft that are faulty and are behind schedule constantly. They havent contributed a lot they are still fairly new and so far they have been a disappointment to the aeronautics industry, but I am sure they will take their lump and improve and get better with time like all companies getting off the ground. Do you think Boeing, Lockheed, McDonnel Douglas had a smooth start up and continued success up to now, hell they are still struggling and finally do they give to flips about you??

i've got faith i'm going to offer some impartial attitude, for i'm no longer from the two of the continents. Its extra often than not the probably unfair backing of the european governments for the Airbus and the huge quantity of hype that the Airbus initiatives. i might considered the A380 being defined as "best ever", "jumbo killer", "technological marvel" and all, whilst it wasnt. And what has Airbus Industrie executed for aviation whilst positioned next to Boeing?as much as now they dont have a useful pioneering layout. You dont "kill" the Queen of the Skies with elegance salons and duty-unfastened shops. the honor for the 747 grew to become into earned with the aid of overall performance, enable Airbus tutor that, in the skies the place it concerns. Thats why I prefer Boeing, they tutor it in the skies, no longer purely in press conferences.

Yes I do a little. I like that the company is associated with the governments of Britian and France. I am not a fan of huge corporations overall and so am no fan of boeing. I hope that the future is good for airbus?

Don't feel too badly for them, the A380 remains as one of the most anticipated aircraft of the new millennium. The still have outstanding orders for these planes form all over the world and the decision of FedEx to cancel their order hasn't dampened the demand, if nothing else it allowed for someone else to get ahead on the wait list.
