My maiden name was Esselborn. I have a distant cousin who visited Esselborn, Germany and he had lunch at the Esselborn Cafe. I will ask my sister to see if she has any information.

Take a look here: http://www.fiblab.de/orte/55234_esselborn.html
This is a small town, and not much is written about it. Also look here: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esselborn. It is all written in German. Esselborn has around 350 Inhabitants, and is located in the (German Land of the Federal Republic) Rhineland-Palatinate.
