They are sweet potatoe pies. Do I need to adjust oven temp? It calls for 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. I'm using pre-made crust.
It's for a church get together. Please help

i worked in a oldfolks home as a cook one thing you sould do is cook your pies at 325 because all ovens are different then set timer for half the time and turn the pies half way for even cooking all ovens have hot spots cook till firm

you sould be ok cooking all 4 at one time but use a cookie sheet cause they may run over less mess that way

good luck

No and I don't expect it will happen in the future, since hubby has been putting them in the oven for years the right way. Someone would have to be in quite the hurry to make that mistake. Or is that the way you bake a frozen pie in the microwave? I never have looked at the instructions for doing that, since we've always used the range oven instead. But we have had a fire in the oven before, and I knew to toss on baking soda to put it out. You never put water on an electrical fire. I don't think I'd care to see what happens if I did try that. It might become the 4th of July in my kitchen LOL.

First put the crust in the over for 10 minutes at 375 and bake blind (without filling) let them cool then put the filling.

You can probably bake all 4 at once and 325 is right and put them on a coolie sheet is right

But you may have to bake them a little longer than you would if you were baking one or two pies.

Keep your oven at the same temp and bake a little longer. Check with a sharp knife, when it comes out clean, the pies are done. I would also turn them about half-way through to make sure they are cooked evenly.

It really depends on your oven. My oven barely cooks 1 pie in 30-45 minutes, let alone 4. I would suggest doing it 1 by 1 or maybe 2 by 2...

No , 4 pies at a time will be fine..

It should be fine, but switch them around halfway through... front to back, top rack to bottom rack... then they'll cook evenly for sure, even if they wouldn't have otherwise.

I think it will be fine unless they are big pies
