Forgive me for not remembering the verse. Is it in Revelation?

It's a final test for those on the Earth at that time, which shall be the remnant Righteous of the Millennium to resist Satan by the indwelling Presence of Christ within them. This will be essential for we (in Spirit Form) were collaborators with Lucifer (Satan) when we willfully chose to defile our original covenant “Wedlock Union” with God, which precipitated the "Angelic Fall", i.e. the transformation of the original Supraeoverse into our current degenerated Trans-Universal Superstructure where we are separated from the Triune Godhead. This is why Jesus incarnated into flesh and died on the Cross of Calvary and Resurrected, to create an antidote, "The Door of Rebirth" to rectify the situation and establish a process to reconcile us back to the Father. This is also why God says, "I knew you before the foundation of the Earth," for we where with God in Spirit in the former state that fell. Thus, God lets loose Satan for a little while so that His Warrior Bride may prove her regained worthiness and position at the Right Hand of her Groom, Christ Jesus, and reject the Deceiver who caused her to commit fornication in that primordial time before time.

This happens in an idyllic time when "the lion lies down with the lamb" and Jesus reigns on earth while Satan is bound yes, it is Revelation a;most at the end. At the start of the millenium the beast and false prophet are thrown in the lake of fire but not Satan who is 'bound, then after almost '1000 years' at the end of the millennium Satan is let out and causes some type of rebellion and then Satan and everyone who's names are not written in the lamb's book of life are thrown in the lake of fire. And the smoke of their torment goes into the ages of the ages.

Some people speculate perhaps there is some justice in this... in that the people fo the millenium lived in a perfect environment... so it answers the question whether even if you lived in a perfect environment could you be tempted to rebell? Why not? It tells allot about human nature and how even people born in the best of circumstance need their sin stained 'robes washed int he blood of the lamb' to enter the New Jerusalem where they will live happily not for 1000 years but into the ages of the ages

In the end, the WHY part is still interpretive speculation and a premilennial view, and I do not know how a-millenialists (the people who taker the millienium as allegorical or we are somehow in it now) and post millenialists interpret this or the preterist view (where the tribulation was around 70ad with the fall of Jerusalem)... I described only premillenialist view which seems to me the most natural way a person reading the text would see it... but there are different opinions about it and it is not an essential belief
and I do not mean to minimize them... I just dont find them persuasive

You're ok. The story begins in Revelation 20:1-9. The reason he must be let lose for a little while, according to "The Ryrie Study Bible":"At the conclusion of the time (after Sattan has been bound 1,000 yrs.), he will be loosed to make one final attempt to overthrow Christ, but without success."

I now this one. Satan serves gods purpose. He weeds out the crop.He sets up a counter fit unholy trinity./ forceing and seduceing people with tortue, fear, imprisonment, takeing ones bread away, etc... he seperates gods chosen from the chaf or weeds if you would, then he works threw humanity influanceing people like pupets like he often does to start wars and trys to destroy earth so that all those he has gotten to turn from GOD will be locked up for eternity in the fires of judgement. and his minions work under him.

Yeah it is. Good question by the way. Well, why not cause some excitement before dooming him in Hell where the fire isn't quenched and the worm doesn't die? Just kidding! Ask a pastor or something. i don't have all the answers. Peace!

I've wondered this myself. Maybe its not about us, maybe its to give Satan a chance to save himself, free will and all? Apparently, he won't make the right choice, but he still gets to make a choice? Just a silly theory, who knows.

To give people an excuse for all the crappy things going on in the world other than "we did it ourselves." There is no Satan.

Yeah, I could never figure that one out either. The only thing I come up with is that God's ways are not our ways. And leave it at that.
