I drink jack or jim and water. You will still get drunk, but, you are less likely to wake up with a splitting headache. The headache is caused from dehydration, which is ultimately a lack of water in your system. I drank a 5th of Chivas Regal in about 6 hours, mixing it with water i had a really good buzz. I woke up the next morning and couldn't tell that I had even had a drink.

it wont not get you drunk if that is the question.
if you order a vodka martini or chilled vodka or vodka on the rocks, when it is in with the ice, it waters it down a bit, and that is really what the point is drinking a liquor with water....
a lot of people who drink liquors with water usually get it with no ice....but a lot of people get it on the rocks with a splash of water...
i was just saying to someone else, to each their own with what you want to drink!

the only ... only thing that gets rid of alcohol out of your system is time... if you drank a gallon of water and 4 oz of alcohol you still drank 4 oz of alcohol. The old myths about coffee and water do have some Merritt because while you are drinking just coffee or water you aren't drinking alcohol therefore taking up the time it takes to burn through your body.

if you want to get drunkest, you should go for straight up vodka instead of mixing it with other things, especially water. water just dilutes the alcohol. have a chaser when drinking hard shots... ya don't wanna throw up on everybody.

no, I would think that you absorb the alcohol faster than you can absorb the water. Alcohol can go straight through the blood brain barrier. Although this may help later with the hangover because alcohol blocks the reabsorption of water from the kidneys

water and alcohol are broken down into different chemical properties after consumption and sent through the bloodstream
... so balance it out? ... nah, but you will have a wicked hangover.
May I suggest Red Bull? (or A.A.) Your choice of course... :) J/K
