It's not considered "humping" at this age, but this is the age where children discover that their sexual organs give them pleasure.. You should discuss the frequency with his pediatrician and see what he thinks you should do, but with my son (who is 13 now and turned out fine WITHOUT a psychologist) I would simply stop him when he did something "inappropriate" in public, and would move him to his room or another private place. Children need to be taught young not to be ashamed of their sexuality so that when they are ready to get into sex, they will feel comfortable talking to you.

Your son does not "Hump" everything. If he is doing something, it is definitley not in a sexual way and boys do get curious about themselves and check themselves out which is very normal. The doctor would just look at you weird.

Well does he sleep in the same room with the parents?
Maybe he has seen something on T.V. or somebody has taught him but if I were you yes I would take him to see a doctor.

I dont know everything but I bet your son isnt doing it in a sexual way. I could see my 14 month old girl going around making body motions like that just because its fun and its a new way to use her body.

At that age, he has no understanding of what he is doing. He had to learn the behavior somewhere, so you need first to stop doing that yourself and/or make sure he doesn't see it on TV or anywhere else again.
Next, you need to be a parent, tell him his behavior is wrong, punish him if necessary to help him learn better, and teach him better ways to behave. You don't need a doctor for him; you need to be a parent.

Kids do what they see and learn. The person who is teaching it or allowing it to be seen needs to correct things on their end and unfortunately now the boy will have to be disciplined for the bad behavior someone has taught him.

Its actually normal for then to find their senses. Some show more then others.
When you catch him doing it gently tell him he can only do that in his bedroom.
Let the doctor know what is going on so he can note it in the file.
