It is an old wives tale that a dogs nose has to be wet and cold. However, I'm sure that your dog is stressed. While getting adopted and going to a new home is great it still is stressful. Don't leave the food out, try offering it to him several times for 15 mins. then put up.
Also, a change of food can cause an upset tummy. Be sure it is of the highest quality.
Get him to the vet for a check-up and to be sure he is in good health.
Good Luck!

The pix shows this is a very strong and expert husky. In
the real world dogs like husky and other sled dogs, love
to romp with the kids, and the other pets. Huskees will sleep
out every nite with seals around near the ice edge. There is
no telling why the dry nose and won't eat without watching
for these clues. Does he circle the house for a walk? This
triggers in huskees there is someplace assigned inside. Is
there noisy dogs around, huskees are peaceful leader trained.
If one of these is true assign a nice small blanket maybe in a
dog bed, use a small mat is ok, and use the blanket over him.
This attention to cold life is natural for them. Also eating with
him is natural, don't feed from table, assign an eating place.
Put on the radio they like music in the house.

I owned a husky once great dog. He was a runner, couldn't keep him in the yard always escaped but always came home. His nose will always be dry normal for a husky, worry only when wet and runny.
