i remember mine used to come out front too, when squatting. I doubt it should really go straight down when she squats. I also think thats it also has to do with the fact that she is still young. Give it some time before you start worrying---because ur worries are more likely to start worrying her also---and think about how unfair that is, if u end up discovering that nothn really is wrong with her.

Yes, it does go outward a bit. I only know from having to watch while peeing in a cup for the Doctor.

It depends on how your sitting, what position are your legs in etc. If sitting with legs closed tightly the urine usually goes straight down unless having a heavy stream from having extreme force of needing to urinate then it may flow down and back a little bit. If sitting on the toilet with legs open the urine may come forward a little.
I am a nurse and have actually done a few studies on this
