God is God. Religion is a manmade institution created by political hustlers to control people. What matters in life is how you treat other people, not how many times a day you pray or how much money you give to a church.

God doesn't teach hate, religious leaders do. God doesn't teach self-guilt. Religious leaders do.

You are absolutely right and you bring out some very true points God is very different than most religions teach him to be,(2Corrinthians 4:4)explains reason for this, when it mentions the god of this system of things there, it is not referring to the True God but the one masquerading as God (Satan the Devil), who is blinding people around the world. And blackening the Name of the True God, he paints God as a saddist and a cruel God, with lies that are taught in False religions, and unfortuinately people are believing satan instead of the True God just as Adam and Eve did in the beginning. Satan is a very devious and sly person even making people believe he doesn't exist, what better way, is there to fool them? and False religion that teaches lies! /Yes he is succeding to some extent, but, he will not win, because although he is a powerful wicked spirit his power has a limit, he is not able to over power the true God, that is why he is using False teachings and False religion to blind mankind and get people to worship him, through lies! and it is, the reason why the Bible says of satan that he walks about like a Lion seeking to devour someone.(1Peter5:8)There are not many roads to God but only 2 are mentioned in the Bible, one leads to destruction because of lies, and the other leads to life(Matthew7:13,14)

You hit the nail on the head. One's relationship to God is a personal journey that should not be based on fear. It's the lack of self love and trust that makes people want to look outside of themselves for salvation. The same can be said of looking for that special relationship with another

no.
Religion is the practices and set of beliefs we use to give praise to God. People can abuse this..but thats not what it is. Of course religion is not God. That wouldnt make sense. Religion will be gone at the end of time when we are with God, because we wont need it anymore..but we do right now, so that we do not fall into error.

God is a copyrighted trademark and patented invention of Religion. Each religion is required to have their own brandname and secret recipe for God.

because god also teaches patience and we are not, we want instant answers.
god teaches forgiveness - we are jealous of each other.
god teaches selflessness but we are selfish.

thats why these religious leaders who hardly got any education, can run us and make us do what they want. we are simply ignorant and blind. and when we see our life is going nowhere - we say there's no god.

You are right that God is not religion. I believe that God commands us to gather with fellow believers to praise God. It does not matter the building, or the rituals, only if we praise him.

religion and God are two different matter. but they are related.

religion supposed to help us "see" God clearer! religion supposed to guide us to communicate with God, to guide us to understand God and to understand ourselves.

most religions have been corrupted by some selfish individuals. that's why people can't see that God is different than religion.

I dunno. There's a BIG difference. A religion is a set of rules to follow, and a set of rituals to do. Being a real Christian means having a special one on one friendship with God.

I couldn't say it better myself. This is the way I feel. I believe in one God.
