first right click on the taskbar then uncheck LOCK THE TASKBAR so see it is uncheck then leftclick on the taskbar and drag ur mouse to the bottom the bar will move there then check LOCK THE TASKBAR

click on a corner of it with your mouse and hold it down and drag it back to the bottom or top or wherever you want it.

what you did is you left clicked and held it and moved your mouse to the side.
to reverse that left click on the taskbar and move your mouse to the bottom

that used to happen to me quite often; it's a simple fix and all you need to do is drag-n-drop. i don't know exactly where to click, but i just wanted to let you know it's not complicated.
