all i seem to be able to find is version 6 which is full of spyware

Be careful with BearShare. I downloaded one of the versions (don't know which one, but it was recent) and I immediately started having a lot of problems with my computer. It was very hard to get rid of it.

I wouldn't bother with bearshare, someone suggested it to me before so I downloaded it and ended up with nothing but spyware and viruses. Give it a miss and find something safer.

Riddled with loop holes, very badly coded. Could in fact be the death of your computer. Try limewire, after all bear share is only a very bad version of the limewire code.

the purely way as far as i recognize is to kind the album call contained in the quest field. Cos most of the clients might want to placed the songs in a folder named after the album. So even as u seek for for it u might want to get most of the songs in that particular album. besides the undeniable fact that it doesn't artwork for all time.
