Actually, I believe in sex INSTEAD of marriage. But only for people like me, who aren't the romantic kind but have a very high sex drive. The rest of you can have it whenever you want.

Forget the before marriage bullshit that parents came up with a long time ago cause they didnt want their kids having sex too young. Just be a responsible person, have sex only when you are ready with a person you really love, dont just go having sex just cause or waiting however long because you arent married. You will love them just as much after marriage all it does is make u a legal couple, your love doesnt change.

I would like to say to a couple of people who wrote that its stupid or ridiculous to wait to have sex after their married that just because they don't believe in it.. it does not give them the right to offend the people who do believe in it... (me included).
I very strongly believe that you shouldn't have sex until you are married but also at the same time respect people that don't believe in this....
Some people believe it because it's apart of their religion... some people just want to share that moment with the person that they plan to live with for the rest of their lives...
All I ask is to respect others opinions... without having to say silly things...

No - I dont know of too many people who wait to have sex before marriage. It is all a matter of personal opinion. If you do not wish to have sex before marriage, whether it be for religious reasons, etc.), it is your choice. If your partner does not respect your choice then its time to move on.

I totally believe this, and am happy to say that I am a virgin. I think having sex out of marriage is incredibly stupid, considering the fact that you never know what might happen. You could break up the next day, or you could get pregnant or any number of things. Don't do it.

To reply to stratocaster lovers answer I must say :
Who the hell are you to judge who is stupid, just because they dont wanna be married before sex.

News flash girl, you can break up the next day after sex even if your married. Just because youre married doesnt mean all is well and since u waited everything will be fine.

i personally think sex before marriage is fine - just think if u get married and the sex is no good it is a bad thing for the marriage! it's basically just a bodily function involving two people, not lyk they're swapping souls or anything...as long as no STD's are involved and they do it without gettin preggers, its finefinefine!

no way! it's too big a part of a relationship to not deal with. What if she craps like a goose every time she comes? You want to know these things. Also there is the compatability issue. If one is a prude and one is a horndog, there will be issues.

I firmly believe that sex should be saved until after marriage. Perhaps it could be a lack of trust but I believe my ability to wait will pay off one day.

I used to believe it! I gave up my virginty when i was 17. I am 23 now! I wish i knew then what i knew now! Cuz i would wait. Everytime you have sex with someone..you make a promise and to eventually break that promise is devastating. I know now it is something special and I plan on waiting now.
