To Gary, who said i was a fool. You ignorant punk, realize that people are not fools because they don't believe in YOUR god. Primates like you, flinging your religious feces make people like me want to shove your christ loving hypocritical bull *$&# upp you *$& and sit on your tomb to worship your eternal loniliness. Get off your pseudoprophet highhorse you clone.

Whichever... Your choice really. What'll be more fulfilling and satisfying to you? And I wish all the religious bigots who answered this question would keep their opinion and their religion to themselves. The whole "You're going to hell" thing, whether or not you intend it in this way, pretty much makes you sound like an asshole.

I'm an Athiest, and I have ABSOLUTELY no problem with people of ANY religion. They can believe whatever the hell they want, as long as they don't try to shove their beliefs down my throat. Organized religion has done a bunch of bad **** in the past, and I'm fairly confident that it will continue to do so. A lot of organized religions preach rejection and have a lack of acceptance for certain groups in society, and in this way, I feel they do more harm than good. But I do understand the value of religion on a more personal level- I just don't feel it holds that value for me.

Oh, and just to get this out to people who feel otherwise- Just because I don't believe in God doesn't mean I'm huge on the whole scientific idea that there are rules governing every aspect of the universe... I just don't feel the need to spend a lot of time focusing on the whys... They're both faith based, and I don't have a lot of faith- which I DON'T see as a bad thing. We're here, and figuring out WHY won't do us much good. Just make the best of it.

The atheist may be a nicer person in the way he acts toward a Christian, but in the end the afterlife will be the same.

BTW....I don't believe there is such thing as a TRUE atheist. I have know two in my life and they both cried out to God from their deathbed near the end.

Belief or disbelief is not a way to live. How one lives and makes such decisions is based on values, ad those values will in turn decide which choice one sees as best. For instance, I value evidence, so I find atheism to extreme an assumption and theism to big of a logical leap. Your question seems to deal with how your values reflect on some state of affairs that you do not reveal.

Hmmmm...good question. I would think living as an Athiest would be better because they are blissfully unaware of God.

Oh, and no true believer would spit on the Saviour, just wouldn't happen.

atheists believe that dieties don't exist
they don't, necessarily, believe that no religion exists.

not all "believers" have a god/or gods as their "divine power".

so, you could easily be a believer who hates the god/gods of other believers (since you both "believe" in different things)

being a hater and a spitter, however
isn't attractive in any human
--no matter how you define your life

cheers, mate

Well, according to Christianity, both will send you straight to Satan so you should live the way that makes you happy in life. Cause eternity is going to be Hell (Pun intended).
