You can be young and healthy throughout.
If not forever, how many years do you think you would need/could take it?

No, if you don't die you don't live. I beleve we will become immortal, in a few thousand years, but at that time life as we know won't exist. Death is supposed to be God's last gift to mankind.

Only if friends, family and loved ones were immortal, too. I have already lost many people in my life and it is horrible to watch them pass leaving an unfillable void.
I am to the point where I wonder if science has allowed us to live too long. Once life is just quantity without quality, without long time friends and beloved family, then maybe it is our time to go, too.
Have you ever watched the movie "Tuck Everlasting"? It about just this type of immortality.

As long as the good times roll and you wouldn't have to live through a worldwide dark age a post Nuclear holocaust world or be the last man on Earth then I'd try for a long long time.

I've been immortal for about 28 years now. It's going well but I'll probably throw in the towel in another 30 years or so.

No, three score years and ten (70 for those not familiar with the bibical term) might be a little bit short but not too much longer. This government would only make us work and tax us anyway!

500 years if others lived that long too, I wouldn't want to out live everyone.


It's a shame that 18 to 55/60 are our best years wish it lasted longer than that.
We get about 40 good years and we have to spend them all working our butts off.
