actually i used to eat pinto beans and other high fiber and protein beans, all the time to lose weight. it worked great, but it does have it draw backs after few hours due to gas.
if you like them, its in you favor due to positive sides to it. just remember to drink alot of water. beans can clog up your intestines.

HERE CHECK THIS OUT! The reason you always soak beans for 8 hours before cooking them is not to soften them, its to alleviate the problem you aren't talking about. Did you know you are supposed to soak them?

Hiii!..
I love beans too..so dont listen to people!... in my country they are one of the meal that people prefer the most..
just learn different ways to cook them and eat them.. they dont make u become fatter so there si no problem :)
