why is it, that cheap pop or dilute have the best flavours?
eg. Morrisons own raspberry ripple
Asdas own fruit salad,
surely there is a big enough market out there for something other than black current and apple!

I'm surprised none of the bigger drinks manufacturers haven't come up with something different.I don't drink a lot of pop or squash of any sort, but my kids do love the flavoured ones from Asda' and Morrison's.
I like the prices, and when you've a few kids,it really does make all the difference.I hardly buy branded name drinks nowadays, coz as you say,the cheaper ones do taste better.
If you look at the big brands, all you can find is Cola,Orange,Lemon `n` Lime, etc, boring tastes with high prices.
I'll stick to buying the cheaper ones,as long as my kids will drink them.

Because there are more flavors put out by Shasta and the supermarket brands rather than Coke and Pepsi putting out the exact same flavors of soda in an attempt to try and out-do one another. I can't figure that out. Anyway, the Shasta and supermarket brands are better too because you don't need a fat wallet to buy soda all the time.

Cheap Pop is generally sweetened with aspartame. This chemical is a neurotoxin, it kills your nervous system. It ruins your taste buds into thinking something tastes 'nice', a bit like MSG does to savoury foods, where infact it is slowly killing you.

Too many people know too little about this chemical and its effects on the population.

Take a look at this link and see where you fit in:

Usually less expensive sodas are made in the region you purchase them-the price break is because you are supporting a local factory. They also have flavors keyed to a specific market and not a global one so they can have more variety. Hope this helps!

I think it is because only supermarkets have enough customers to stock these rare tasty flavours and most soft drink makers go for the vending machine/corner shop market.

Personally I prefer to buy my own neat spirits and turn them into whatever I fancy, that tastes better again, and instead of having these ***** little amounts of alcohol in a drink, you can actually have enough to stimulate a little life into your soul!!

they all have artificial sweetners in, which are chemicals that I am very alergic to, so I have never tried them - you really cant beat a home-made fruit medley or a pure juice, and if you need fizz - just give it a wee blast in the soda stream YUM !!
