I am so sorry for your loss and you know my heart goes out to her. You understand that was her best friend and companion. There is a poem called Rainbows Bridge that you can get from the internet also and it is beautiful for her to read. It will take time .I just lost my Mia this past May and I fully know how she feels . She will always have her baby in her heart and once in a while shed a tear. I still do but as long as she has you to talk to and comfort thats all she needs is your strenghth and kindness to remember the good times and everyone will meet again.Try finding the poem. It is beautiful

When my dog died, people tried to console me by pointing out what a good, long life she'd had...which was true, but didn't make me miss her less. Try saying something like, "You must miss him/her so much..." Also, try to talking about good memories you have of this dog or ask her to tell you a funny story about something the dog did or something especially lovable about the dog. Try something like, "Do you remember the time ?" and get her laughing and remembering the love and joy she shared with her dog.

Hey Jennifer I'm sorry for your Grand Mothers loss, just start talking about the fun and good times she had while you were around her pet and let laughter and great memories, like how she got her pet or somthing the pet did years ago that she can laugh at now, heal the pain she feels. And Jennifer hug your Grand Mother as long and as soft as you can, she's been through alot. Good Luck.

a hug, a card; a kiss ; a telephone call; make some time to spend with her; tell her that you are sorry and ask if there is anything that you can do ; best medicine is love; love her and give her a hug! You must already b/c you are asking this question to ease her pain; sounds like she has a wonderful grandchild.

I would give her a big hug and tell her how sorry you are. There's not much more you can do but be there for her if she wants to talk about it or just cry on your shoulder. Grief is a painful thing, but it's something nobody can fix...except time. My sympathy goes out to her. Good luck.

I would tell her how sorry you are and tthat you love her. Spend some extra time with her right now, so she won't be so lonesome. Do extra things for her like fixing her hair. Just be a shoulder to lean on.
