I don't think there is a difference. The best way I get my eggs to peel is.. When they are done I put them in a big bowl with ice and water and let them chill for a minute. Then, when you peel them, they come off like butter, and they are still warm inside. Good luck : )

brown eggs or white eggs both are the same. the shell colour is dependant on the breed of bird that lays it. to easy peel a boiled egg couldnt be more simple. just cool the boiled eggs in water the shell because of its shape will only contact a small amount. the inner part of the egg will contract more. then smash the shell all over roll between palms of hands and peel. Organic eggs are simply eggs that come from "free range" or uncaged birds. the conditions the birds are kept in are the only real difference. however the flavour of the egg and even the colour of the yolks may differ but this is down to the foods the pullets eat. these different foods also alter the flavour of the chickens meat. Organic farmers tend to feed their birds on scraps and wild foods such as meal worms etc. so the protien content of the resultant eggs may be altered and of course the cell structure of the eggshell.

Organic eggs, lol, I was raised on organic eggs! Every thing we had was organic! I don't feel that they are any better nor worse for you, sales gab, they just want you to purchase their product. Other items is a different story!

Any egg can be difficult to peel when you wait until they are almost cold. Keep them as warm as you can stand, crack the shell a bit and roll them in your hands add pressure to keep cracking the shell, often if done properly the shell rolls right off!
the secrete is to keep the egg very warm to hot while peeling!

They are not better. In New England they are local because of the breed of hens found locally. That means the stores advertise them as fresher and mark their price up more.

After you have boiled the eggs, while they are still very hot in the pot, run very cold water directly over them. That make steam right under the shell and separates the shell from the rest of the egg. When they are cool they peel very easily. You could also do the same thing with white shell eggs.

No. Brown eggs are exactly the same as white eggs. They come from a different color of chicken but there is no difference. Very fresh eggs are hard to peel whether they are brown or white.

I read that they are NOT healthier (but they look like they are dont they??) I buy them too. Eggs that are hard to peel are the fresher eggs.

they are organic white eggs as well
the color doesn't have to do anything with how much or less healthier the eggs are.
