i think if you get near one maybe go to the pest store and let someone give you a spider to hold once you learn more about spiders and how they help the environment that may help u cure ur phobia.i have to do the same because i am also scared of them.

Seek out a professional who specializes in curing phobias. Yes, they can be cured very quickly and easily. Good luck!

some fears are inborn like spiders and snakes. With that said there are programs that desensitize you by exposing you to your fears. So part of the program, in your case, will be exposure to lots of spiders until you no longer fear them I know this sounds like torture but I guess it really works.

I had the same problem and my way of copeing is taking charge of the fear~ I'm the human and if they get in my way I 'get rid' of them! I like a safe repellent (spray form) to cover the rest of my 'space'... it sometimes even helps to cover up your body and get yourself tired before going to bed~ hope this helps:)>

i find that for me, if i kill more of them, i feel a bit more braver. but it doesnt help me at night or with that feeling that there on me. all i can recommend is that you take a can of fly spray to bed and wear an insect net over your face, have fun!!
