a few years ago, i met a guy and we became friends right away. i started to like him, and im pretty sure he liked me too. i spent a while in the same classes with him, and we talk a little at parties, but other than that, i haven't seen him very much and the feeling has only intensified. the thing is, whenever i see him in the halls, he'll stop all conversation with his friends and look at me. whenever i look at him, he'll turn away, like he knows we have something but is too shy to let it show? and he has this certain look in his eye when i catch it. if we ever talk, he'll look at my eyes, and then at my lips. what gives?

my friends also tell me its true.. one of my friends is a close family friend of him also, and she says that whenever she says my name he'll kind of freeze... the thing is, i'm shy when it comes to that stuff too...

Talk to him, if hes too nervous he prolly dont think you like him. Guys dont pick up on these things as easily. Ask him if he wants to go to a movie or something. If he wont get the ball rolling you may have to if you want something from this.

ok, this depends. He could be giving you all th signals, but you could be reading into it because you want him to be giving you the signals. But if what you say is true, then go for it. In fact, go for it either way. He may be too shy to do it himself.

It sure sounds to me as if it is mutual. He sounds very shy. Try saying hi to him when he looks at you.
