you can use a "reverse look-up" service. there are free ones out there....do a quick google and click on one...usually you just type in the phone # and an address and name will come up for an answer if it is NOT a cell. good luck

if you do "*69" it will dial back the last number that called you, but you might not know who it is. Also, it doesn't seem to work with long distance calls.
