Well, I know from expierence that it is very hard when your friends tease you for not doing that and not knowing about it. It is a woman's preference. Biologically, that hair is there to seal in any odors from the normal daily discharge that all females have to keep themselves clean. I do warn you though, the first few times that you shave you will itch like crazy. Some women shave it all off and some just shave some. But, contrary to popular belief, not all women do it. Some women are not comfortable with the thought. If you are unsure, try it once, if you don't like it , then do not do it again. It is completely up to you, don't let your boyfriend make you feel like you have to. It is your body afterall.

I bet you've heard of bikini waxing. It is basically the same thing. Removing the hair so it isn't seen when wearing skimpy bathing suits and the like. Keeping the area clean and hairless is very common, though I would warn you to shave in the same direction as the hair grows. Perhaps just try a little at a time as some people get rashes and ingrown hairs that look really nasty and itch constantly. But once you shave regularly it is no big deal and just a part of your hygiene routine.
As for whether to trim along the edges or clean cut it all it is up to you. Some even shape the hair into initials, hearts, arrows, or whatever you can imagine. So do what you are comfortable doing and not because someone else wants you to. It's your body and only you should decide what you do with it.

the majority of women do shave but to different extents. Most women keep the pubic area trimmed and neat. Others shave it completly while other wax. It is your choice as to what you like. It also depends on what the guy likes and this is what influences the majority of women. Some guys also shave their pubic area so you could turn the tables and tell you bg to shave as well.

IT'S JUST WHATEVER YOU PREFER REALLY. I DON'T LIKE A LOT OF HAIR, BUT I DON'T LIKE IT ALL GONE EITHER. I USE MY HUBBYS TRIMMERS AND IT'S LIKE A CLOSE BUZZ CUT/ SOME GIRLS GET CRAFTY W/ IT AND SHAVE THE SIDES A LEAVE THE MIDDLE. OR SHAVE IT ALL. FOR ONE I GET BAD RAZOR BURN W/ A REAL RAZOR AND IT WILL ITCH YOU WHEN IT STARTS GROWING BACK OUT. JUST KEEP IT MOISTURIZED ALL THE TIME. GOOD LUCK. HE'LL ENJOY WHATEVER YOU DECIDE I'M SURE.
IT'S FINE THAT YOU HAVEN'T HAD SEX. DON'T GIVE IN TO PEER PRESSURE...E*V*E*R.....THAT'S SOMETHING YOU'LL NEVER FORGET (YOUR FIRST TIME) SO MAKE IT SPECIAL AND WITH THE RIGHT PERSON. OR DO IT THE RIGHT WAY AND WAIT UNTIL MARRAGE...YOU ARE 18 AND WON'T HAVE THAT MUCH LONGER BEFORE YOU GET MARRIED....

Hey Shari. It's a matter of personal choice - yours! I go to the nude beach so I see alot of naked people (DUH) and most girls either shave completely or keep their pubic hair very well trimmed. I keep mine in a very thin "landing strip" because I think it looks best that way, especially with a full tan like I have every summer, but again that's only my choice.
It's your body and you should keep it the way you feel most comfortable.

Yes, you should shave every hair off your pubic areas. Not only is it hygenic, it's a lot more enjoyable; not only for you, but no guy likes to floss his teeth when he's down there pleasuring you. You don't have to worry about it itching either if you keep it shaved nice and smooth.

yes, most women do it. Don'r worry it doesn't hurt. They have special razors, which I recommend over a regular razor. Some do all, some just trim it up. It's up to you which you want to do. Just beware, if you let it grow back out it could itch.

It just happens to be the "in" thing right now. Everything goes in circles and eventually a "full bush" will be back in style.

Yea most women do it not because it looks more sexy, but because it's also a health issue. Shaving pubic hair leads to cleanliness and purity
