ABSOLUTELY!!! The same Creator Who created the earth we live on, created hell.

However, it was actually created for Satan and his fallen angels.

But, since we have no other place to go if we reject Jesus, we must go to hell. Satan is the father of all the wicked. Therefore, the wicked will be with him in hell. Where the fire is not quenched and the worm dieth not.

No. The word Hell is found in many Bible translations. In the same verses other translations read "the grave", "the world of the dead,"and so forth. Other Bibles simply transliterate the original-language words that are sometimes rendered "hell"; i.e. they express them with the letters of our alphabet but leave the words untranslated.

These words (Hebrew "sheohl") and the (Greek equivalent "hades") which refer not to an individual burial place, but to the common grave of dead mankind; also the Greek "gehenna" which is used as a symbol of eternal destruction.

However, both in Christendom and in many non-Christian religions it is taught that hell is a place inhabited by demons and where the wicked, after death, are punished (and some believe that this is with torment).

Of course not. There is absolutely NO evidence for a place called Hell. Or Heaven. And guess what, Santa's Grotto doesn't exist either! Nor Middle Earth. Nor Tatooine and the Death Star!

There is just Earth and the Universe. But that's a big place full of wonder. We don't need to invent fairytale worlds - planet earth is amazing enough.

Yes. Thiere are 2 places that have been given this name. One is Sheol, where the dead wait for judgement. This is where Jesus went between His death and resurrection, to preach to the dead and give Eternal Life to those that believed. The other place is Gehenna, the pace of final judgement, the fiery pit. People imagine satan and the demons being in charge of this. This is an error. They are destroyed there along with all those who believed in their own righteousness or who decided not to live a life loyal to God.

There is no such place as a fiery hell.
A loving God wouldn't invent such a place
The word is mistranslated & means the common grave of mankind
What does the Bible say the penalty for sin is?
Rom. 6:23: “The wages sin pays is death.”
After one’s death, is he still subject to further punishment for his sins? - No
Rom. 6:7: “He who has died has been acquitted from his sin.”
Is eternal torment of the wicked compatible with God’s personality?
Jer. 7:31: “They [apostate Judeans] have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, a thing that I had not commanded and that had not come up into my heart.” (If it never came into God’s heart, surely he does not have and use such a thing on a larger scale.)
Illustration: What would you think of a parent who held his child’s hand over a fire to punish the child for wrongdoing? “God is love.” (1 John 4:8) Would he do what no right-minded human parent would do? Certainly not!
To teach that God would torment people forever in a fiery hell is misrepresenting God. He is a God of love

I think all things in the bible are valid as metephorical explanations and ideas about life. God is a metaphor for ourselves, the ultimate judger of our actions can only be ourselves. Both heavan and hell are metaphorical places. If we do something and we know in our heart of hearts that it was the wrong thing to do we wil torture ourselves metally etc, if we do something good and we know it then we feel good about ourselves. When i lye on my death bed i hope that i can look back and say you know all in all i never did a single thing to spite another person with malice. If i have hurt anyone then i was not aware of it. Thats all i want and have ever wanted. If God allegedly created me then he has no right to judge me because he is the engineer behind my exsistence. I judge myself, and hell for me is knowing when i have done something that was not wholly right or true to my own set of beliefs.

I dont believe in hell as depicted by zealous preachers.
Others say hell is just being in eternity but without God.
For others it is forever remaining unfulfilled and unresolved.
If there is life after death I think it is more to do with either being at peace or not being at peace than any fanfare of trumpets or flames in a furnace.

If there is, it's probably the place the xtians call heaven. Imagine, no sex, no booze, no freedom except to shout sycophantic praise to the genocidal dictator who rules the place.

However, since the Pentateuch (Torah or 5 books of Moses) - said to be dictated by god him/her/it-self - doesn't mention the place - at least, in the usual context, it might be assumed that it doesn't exist and was a fairy tale created to frighten xtian children into fearful submission to their parents belief in the impossible and irrational.

hell is the name of the daughter of Loki .. from the norse/pagan faith...
there is a place in the remainders of where babylon would have been ... where there is a cave sitting on a fault line , this cave gives off poisonous gases and anyone who enters will not come out alive .. it also bubbles with the lava that flows beneath the surface ...
this is where many people believed the devil to reside ... so easy to see where this idea came from
do i believe in hell ? .... no

No, because Heaven and Hell are states of the mind. Just like all the riches in the world won't necessarily make you happy, neither would a heavenly garden, although it helps. There is no firey inferno that will doom you for all eternity.
