A bacterial infection in your mouth or throat is a whole lot more likely to cause bad breath [halitosis] than cancer would. [I think some dogs can smell some cancers, though.]
So first relax.
Now go brush your teeth really thoroughly. Stick your tongue partway out and note its color and appearance. Brush your tongue lightly [and not too far back] with your toothbrush. Rinse your brush and mouth well. Floss. Check to see if there's any bleeding from your gums. [If you can, go to your local pharmacy and get a dental care pack that has a dentist's mirror and probe or one of those lighted magnifiers that they use to look in ears, nose, and throat. Less than $20 for both, I promise.]
Rinse your mouth with a very mild mixture of peroxide and water. Gargle in the back of your throat with salt water.
Go to the doctor Monday. If you are feeling so tired and yucky, you probably have a tough case of strep or even mononucleosis which should be identified and treated. [These days a strep test takes only 3 minutes!] It could even be a popcorn hull or something that has slipped between a tooth and your gums. .
Please relax. It's not throat cancer and even if it was, 36 hours will not make a huge difference in your treatment or outcome.

I really hope these tips will help you feel better and more in control of the situation. Do keep us updated and feel free to contact me via Answers.

It is possible that you might have gingivitis, and infection can spread through the bloodstream. Maybe a digestive issue? I wouldn't worry as much as you are about this because you have stated that you have always been very healthy. Go to the doctor with a friend or family member so that you can keep your mind busy during the wait in the office. Good luck to you.

Why are you worrying over the situation instead of going to find out what the reason could be??? If you dont go to the doctor then you will continue to worry and that is not good. Ultimately it could be something not so serious but because you are worrying about it so, then whatever it is could get serious.....Go check it out

No one here can tell you what those symptoms mean with any accuracy and without examining you. You need to go to a doctor. If you DO have something bad wrong with you, the sooner you go the easier it will be to help you. The longer you wait, the worse it will get.

Do you have a sore throat? swollen glands? any other signs? It sounds like it could be a throat infection, tonsils, sinus, possibly the start of an ulcer. How is your diet? Do you brush, floss, eat healthy? I would look in your throat, see if you see any spots or lumps, check your teeth, and probably go to the DDS or Dr for evaluation.
