And now US troops have gone in to a town called Ramadi in Iraq. They massacred several civilians. No reason given, except that there are several insurgents in the area. But the random killing.. Sort of like a mini Fallujah....and we wonder about our troops, getting orders to shell civilian homes. Its all a matter of survival I suppose. I would imagine that US troops feel the same way Iraqis feel. That is to say that they may not live beyond today...
and no, i'm no bleeding heart so-called 'liberal', nor am I a Reoublican or an independent. I just think for myself....

(Please don't chastise me for thinking for myself. Please also do not ask me questions because the infamous "Community Standards' foribds me from answering. Just tell me who gives these kinds of orders........)

I would assume the people on the ground, the enlisted man panicking or encountering traumatic stress syndrome etc. Just a Non- commissioned officer who needs a schooling in the rules of engagement.

Nobody gives those orders. You listen to whatever the Media says to you, yes? Maybe if you were to witness the "insurgents" resolve firsthand you would have a different view of the situation. Innocent people probably died, innocent people always die but the men and women who are fighting in Iraq and elsewhere are not exceeding their orders. They have to make sound, on the spot decisions or their men, and the people of Iraq that we swore to protect will suffer more. Don't get me wrong, you ask a very good question but I never received a single order ti kill anyone who wasn't out to kill me.

These heinous crimes are not committed by our troops on the ground. The Iranian and Syrian sponsored insurgency is to blame for the killing of innocent civilians. So, unless you have a source of information that the rest of mankind is not privy to. I'd suggest that you don't make outrageous accusations that you can't back up.

Sounds more like preaching then asking a question. If you didn't want a lecture than don't give one. Nobody wants to kill innocent people. Do you remember 9/11? Those were innocent people. The whole nation was in morning. Were you celebrating that day?

It's the same problem they had in Vietnam. They have no way of distinguishing the "good guys" from the "bad guys". So, sometimes they waste everything on sight, on the assumption they are all "bad guys", or at least guilty by association. It doesn't necessarily need an order. One guy starts shooting, the others naturally follow.

NO ONE DOES! ! !
Do you get it yet????????

Many things happen in war that shouldn't, sometimes unavoidable, sometimes a crime, sometimes someone didn't think. Get the idea yet???? War is anything but a perfect world.

BUT ! ! ! For every Iraqi killed by a US solder, 100 were killed by other Iraqi's,,, so now who would you like to chastise. Or is it OK for what ever religious group you belong to to kill others, but it is not OK for them to kill your people in return,,,,,,,,,, sometimes the idiocy here is beyond belief

Seems like you are lecturing more than asking a question.
