Went to the park today, was having a very nice walk all of a sudden my male starts misbehaving(very unlike him) then I notice another man and his 2 dogs and he too was having trouble controling his dogs Out of nowhere a man and little boy about(7-8 yo)came walking down the trail with a female pit bull the little boy had the dog leash and had no control of the dog, the man just let him try and walk it,the pitbull was in heat!, why would this man take his female that is in heat to a park with other dogs? why would he even think a small boy could control it, not to mention the danger he was putting his son in by letting him walk this dog around all the male dogs. can someone really be that STUPID?
He had every male dog in the park excited, surprised there wasn't a major dog fight, even more surprised that no one was bitten. I just don't understand people sometimes....thats Why I love my dog so much....

yes i agree it was stupid of him to let the little boy walk the dog..but in heat or not, the dog needs exercise too..maybe he was trying to find a dog to breed his female with, you don't know...people do tihngs for weird reasons, and unless you know him you can't judge him for what you might think is stupid..why didn't you take your dog home when he was misbehaving, or take him somewhere else...cause and effect

They probebly thought the dog(in heat) needed exersize.
I have no clue why the man didn't take the leash.
I guess some people are just weird that way.

There are a lot of stupid people like that out there. If you ask me, they need obedience training , not their dog. My ex was like that, and that is how my Doberman died. I had her for twelve years, and he let his American bulldog get to her when she was in heat. She died trying to give birth to a puppy three times the normal size. So yes there are idiots like that everywhere in the world.

most people just have no clue what they are doing. they see they can cotrol a situation then they over estimate their kids.when i was 6or 7 we lived in a great neigborhood so my parents let me walk my dog myself. hehe,guess what? she dragged me diagonally on my stomache across a two way street. of cours now i weigh more that she does so she can't do that anymore. my dad almost made the same mistake with my little sister so i had to remind him that she's not ready. some people don't have someone to remind them.

Some people are just ignorant and do not care. I once went out with a loser, who would walk his pit, just to intimidate other people and look cool. Every one just thought he was a jerk. It is like when losers walk around with guns. There is a time and place for everything. People just have to use common sense.

There could be the possibility that there was a reason he did this. I let my seven year old walk our lab just to prove to him he wasn't big enough to do so. This does not make me stupid....it makes my son stubborn. So unless you know what was going on please don't judge him.
